Hangzhou is the tea capital of China. From spring to summer is the official tea harvest season in Hangzhou, which gives maximum tourists to China. Visitors can find out more wonders than just the Great Wall. Poets and painters captured its beauty and even ancient emperors were mesmerized when they visited Hangzhou.
The region’s hand-produced Dragon Well tea is considered finest, which is grown in villages and plantations surrounding Hangzhou’s fertile West Lake. The West Lake remains the canvass on which the city’s beauty is depicted, and “inspires people to project feelings onto the landscape.”
Some important places to visit in Hangzhou, during the tea harvest season are: The West Lake, Dragon Well Tea Village, The Grand Canal, Impression West Lake Performance, Lingyin Temple, and Xixi National Wetland Park.
