Runner Malindi Elmore promotes Kelowna at Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle Marathon
Tourism Kelowna supported Destination Races’ presence at the Health and Fitness Expo, part of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle Marathon, on June 20-21.
With help from high-profile Kelowna runner Malindi Elmore, Destination Races used the Expo to promote the inaugural Kelowna Wine Country Half Marathon on Saturday, September 7.
Destination Races displayed Kelowna and area wine, distributed Tourism Kelowna Visitors’ and Wine Trails guides and race postcards and gathered 300 entries for a trip for two to Kelowna for the race.
Thanks to the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and Conference Centre and Tourism Kelowna wine partners such as Ex Nihilo and Tantalus for contributing to the Expo.
