Sailing is alive and well in Kelowna
Tourism Kelowna is supporting the Central Okanagan Sailing Association (COSA) in hosting Sail Canada’s semi-annual Directors’ Meeting, April 11-14 in Kelowna.
Directors and staff from Sail Canada’s national office and provincial sailing associations will attend the meeting at COSA and the nearby Hotel Eldorado.
Some of the 30 total delegates plan to extend their stays and ski at Big White.
One of the goals for COSA in hosting Sail Canada is to have Kelowna considered as a site for future events, as it was when COSA and the Kelowna Yacht Club hosted the Women’s National Keelboat Championship in 2007.
